OPEN Division
  • Players 18 years and over  (by December 31st of current season

MASTERS Division
  • Players 30 years and over  (by December 31st of current season

Gloucester & Area Adult Ringette Association (GAARA)

  • Adult OPEN ringette association
  • 44 teams last season from around the Eastern Ontario Region and surrounding municipalities.
  • 5 divisions - 'A'. 'B', 'C', 'Masters C' (30+) and 'Recreational'
  • Teams play approximately once per week and provide their own ice to the league

Co-Ed Adult Ringette League of Ottawa (CARLO)

CARLO is designed as a fun, non-competitive, recreational league. Players range from beginner to intermediate in skill level. We play at a pretty good pace, but our goal is to make sure everyone is included. For those with experience playing or watching the GAARA's league, the playing level ranges from the Recreational Level, through to the “Open C”.  There are some “Open B” players, but they tone down their play so as to not exclude beginners

Bench Staff Qualifications
  1. Each team must have a qualified Head Coach registered and this individual may be a player.
  2. For sanctioned play (i.e. tournaments), there must be a non-playing member of the coaching staff on the bench. Two situations are permitted:
  • Situation #1: The non-playing person on the bench is the Head Coach.

  • Situation #2: The non-playing person on the bench is  an assistant coach, manager, or trainer AND
    the Head Coach is a player who is present and playing on the tea
