Rules for Championship Day 2001

Association Presidents are invited to help present medals at the games in which their association's teams are finalists. They (or a designate) can also pick up the banners from the troubleshooting desk for the Divisions won by a team from their association. We do not present the banners on the ice as it leads to confusion. The banners are awarded in recognition of finishing first overall in the league during the regular season. Final standings for the league have been e-mailed to Association Presidents by the League Statistician.

For the Championship games:

1. The Home team provides the timekeeper and the Visitor provides   the scorekeeper.

2. Each team should provide a volunteer for the penalty box

3. Teams should be ready to go on the ice 10 minutes early

4. Sudden death overtime is played if the game is tied at the end of

regulation time

5. Home team should bring a scoresheet - we'll try to have some there

but please ask  your teams to bring scoresheets just in case

6. Medals will be presented on the ice to both teams (gold & silver)

Good luck to everyone and don't forget the AGM on May 12th at the

Blackburn Community Centre (beside Blackburn Arena in Gloucester)!!
