Rules for Championship Day 2001

Association Presidents are invited to help present medals at the games in which their Association's teams are finalists. They (or a designate) can also pick up the banners from the troubleshooting desk for the Divisions won by a team from their association. We do not present the banners on the ice as it leads to confusion. The banners are awarded in recognition of finishing first overall in the league during the regular season. Final standings for the league will be e-mailed to Association Presidents by the League Statistician at the conclusion of all the rescheduled games (well before April 5th & 6th).

For the Championship games:

1. Home Team will  provide the timekeeper and the scorekeeper.

2. Each team should provide a volunteer for the penalty box

3. Teams should be ready to go on the ice 10 minutes early

4. Sudden death overtime is played if the game is tied at the end of

regulation time.  -  15 minute “stop-time”  overtime periods until a goal is scored

5. Home team must bring the scoresheet

6. Medals will be presented off  the ice in the lobby  to both teams (gold & silver)

Good luck to everyone !!
