Rules for Championship Day 2004

Association Presidents are invited to help present medals at the games in which their Association's teams are finalists. They (or a designate) can also pick up the banners from the troubleshooting desk won by a team from their Association for finishing first in their Divison in NCRRL League Play. The banners are awarded in recognition of finishing first overall in the league during the regular season. We do not present the banners in public as it leads to confusion. Final standings for the league will be posted on the NCRRL website well in advance of the Championship Weekend..

For the Championship games:

1. Home Team will  provide the timekeeper and the visiting team the scorekeeper.

2. Each team should provide a volunteer for the penalty box

3. Teams should be ready to go on the ice 10 minutes early

4. Sudden death overtime is played if the game is tied at the end of regulation time.  -  15 minute “stop-time”  overtime periods until a goal is scored

5. Home team must bring the scoresheet

6. Medals will be presented off  the ice in the hall upstairs to both teams (gold & silver)

Good luck to everyone !!
